Celebrating The Life of Richard Haegele 8/29/32-9/15/21

To all our customers and friends, please keep our family in your thoughts and prayers as God has called another one of our family members home to heaven. Richard Haegele, 2nd generation owner passed away suddenly but peacefully on September 15th. Beloved husband of Jean and partner in life for 65 years! He was a devoted father to his son Glen, who predeceased him by only 8 months, & his daughter Linda who predeceased him by 43 years. He was a devoted Grandfather to my three sons Joshua, Aaron, and Elijah. These past few months have been a time of challenge as our family has stepped into 2021 without Glen, but seeing the bakery continue on into the 4th generation with "the boys" at the helm was indeed a blessing and a comfort to Richard's heart. He took great pride in his work and the bakeshop, but he took even greater pride in the accomplishments of his grandsons. His energy, laughter and zest for life will be deeply missed, but we indeed have a lifetime of memories at home and at the bench to truly cherish. Richard Haegele's Memorial Service is taking place on Monday Sept 20th at St John's Evangelical Lutheran Church of Mayfair. The sevice will also be live streamed at:  https://youtu.be/J9hL0gONcVg
1 Corinthians 9:24-26 is the scripture verse that mom chose for dad's prayer cards. ..."Run your race to win", and he certainly did!                Posted 9/19/21
